Have you heard of Bluey? She is Emma and Owen’s new favorite dog!
Bluey is an Australian animated television series, which the kids watch on Disney Jr. all the time! The series follows a six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy named Bluey, who is characterised by her abundance of energy, imagination and curiosity of the world. Bluey lives with her father, Bandit; mother, Chilli; and younger sister, Bingo, who regularly joins Bluey on adventures as the pair embark on imaginative play together.
As a parent, one reason I love Bluey is because the show resembles our family dynamic – the Heeler family is presented as a nuclear family, with both adults shown to be working parents just like my husband and I!
The kids were so thrilled to find out that there’s a new line of Bluey toys coming out soon! Moose Toys send us some of the new toys and we are excited to share them with you.
We got the Bluey Best Mate Plush – she is so cute and cuddly and the kids love being able to take turns giving her hugs! Bluey is jumbo-sized and super soft, making her the best pal to hang with, especially while watching new Bluey episodes on Disney Jr.!
The Bluey & Family Figure 4-Pack is the best because the kids got to have each character to play with! It comes with Bluey, her sister Bingo, her mum Chilli and her dad Bandit. Emma was especially excited because just like Bluey, we also have 4 members in our family, so we each get to play as a different character. Along with the Family Pack, we got the Park Playset, which comes with a functioning swing, a slide and a wagon! Owen loved pushing Bluey down the slide and pushing Bingo on the swing – it’s awesome because the character figures stick right on the swing, preventing them from falling off as the kids play with them.
The Bluey Heeler 4WD Family Vehicle fits 4 characters! It comes with a Daddy Bandit figure, two surfboards that can be stored on the rooftop rack, and a sticker sheet to decorate the car. I love that the top of the car can open up, making it super easy to place the characters inside.
Both Emma and Owen already told us that they can’t wait to get the Bluey Family Home! It is so beautiful and definitely on Emma’s Birthday Wishlist!
The Bluey toys product will become available again at Target at the end of July (but will sell fast) and all major retailers on August 1st!
