One of my dearest friends Camelia is expecting!
She and her husband Jorge are one of Jaime and I’s favorite couples.
When I got pregnant with Emma, Camelia and I always talked about how fun it would be to be pregnant at the same time, and have kids close in age, so when I found out she was expecting I was over the moon and super excited!!!
I was one of the first people to know that Camelia was expecting, and I felt so special to know super early that Emma was either going to get a best friend or a future boyfriend, haha!
From the moment I found out Baby de la Peña was baking, I secretly wished for a girl! I kept thinking about all the cute matching outfits Emma and her new little girl friend would have, being able to share cute ideas with Camelia for the “girls” and basically just being able to have another little girl to spoil!
Of course, if Baby “P” was to be a boy, I would love him unconditionally as well! And it would have been fun to have a handsome little guy to hang with.
Jorge is a huge sports fan.
Fun Fact- He was the football coach at my old high school, when I was a cheerleader!
So it was no surprise to me that Baby P’s Gender Reveal Party had some football to it’s theme!
Check out some pictures from Camelia and Jorge’s
Touchdowns or Tutus Gender Reveal Party!
Camelia had her mom, and Jorge’s mom help them pull the string on the piñata, which I though was such a great and sweet idea, to involve the grandmothers in baby’s gender reveal. Everyone crowded around the piñata with phones in hand, ready to find out if we were going to see blue or pink come out! Jorge gave a little speech, and as he talked, Camelia started to tear up, which made me tear up, and remember the excitement and nervousness I felt myself, when it was my Gender Reveal party!
Ok.. Ready to find out if Baby de la Peña is a boy or girl? Here we go!
I don’t have words to describe how excited I am for Baby Mia to arrive in August!
I am so blessed to be a part of her life already, and I can’t wait to spoil her!!!
Camelia and I are already planning Mia’s 1st Birthday and Emma’s 2nd Birthday Disney extravaganza haha! I love that they will be so close in age, and even in the same school year since Emma misses the cut off by 11 days, and Mia will just make it!
Now, can August hurry up?! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed the pictures, they were taken by Chad Biederman.
