If you follow me on social media you’ve probably seen me with a Venti Starbucks cup full of a pink colored drink.
Every time I post a picture of myself with that pretty pink drink people ask me what I’m drinking, and when I tell them it’s a Pink Drink, they ask me what it’s called, haha! But yes, that pink drink IS called Pink Drink! 🙂
I tried the Pink Drink one day because I had gone to Starbucks to try that Unicorn Frappuccino – remember that nonsense? Yeah.. I wanted to try it, not even going to act like I didn’t want to, ha!
Anyway, I went to Starbucks to get a Unicorn Frappuccino and they were completely sold out, so the barista suggested I try either the Pink Drink or the Pokemon Frappuccino (which did not sound good at all) so I just said fine, and got a Pink Drink.
OH. MY. GOSH!
I was instantly hooked. The Pink Drink was so sweet, so refreshing and so so sooo delicious!
The Pink Drink is the Strawberry Acai Refresher made with Coconut milk, plus scoops of strawberries.
From that day on I started drinking the Pink Drink almost daily!
One day a friend tagged me on a post of an article talking about moms who swear that the Pink Drink helps them with their milk supply with the main reason being that it’s made with coconut milk and we all know that coconut helps boost milk production.
I thought that it was an interesting article and decided to try it for myself, and what do you know? It works! I know that everyone is different and every body reacts differently to different things but when it comes to me – the Pink Drink DOES help me make more milk!
How do I know?
Well, since I pump at work every day I know exactly how much milk I pump per session. I usually have a Venti Pink Drink every morning (weekdays), so I decided to skip a day, not drink the Pink Drink and see what happened, and I kid you not, I made 1oz less than I usually did on my second pump session.
I went back to normal, having my daily Pink Drinks, and whenever I would run late for work and not be able to go to Starbucks to get my Pink Drink I would ALWAYS make 1-2oz less! Crazy right?
So for me – the Pink Drink DOES help with my milk supply!
If you are a mama who pumps and are trying to boost your milk supply, why don’t you give the Pink Drink a try? Like all things you take or do to help boost your milk supply, I’m sure it will take a couple of Pink Drinks to notice a difference, but in my opinion, there is nothing out there more delicious than the Pink Drink that helps with milk supply.
Have you had the Pink Drink before? Yay or nay?
