Our Little Lake House

We had SO MUCH FUN on our trip to Orlando to visit Mickey and go to his Not So Scary Event!
We were so lucky to stay at a beautiful Little Lake House right by the parks.

Our Little House is named Serenity Lake House, it is owned by Sarah and Ken, who are the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with!
Their house is not only beautiful, but it seriously has everything and anything you could ever need when traveling away from your own home.
From the moment we stepped in we were so happy and we felt like we were home!

Sarah and Ken were so kind to have a basket full of goodies for us when we got there, with milk and soda in the fridge too!

Serenity Lake House is BEAUTIFUL! Their living space was big and was so accommodating!
There were 7 of us in our group! My little family of 4 and one of my best friends and her little family of 3.
We loved being able to hang together and enjoy our time in the morning before we headed over to the parks, and at night as we relaxed after a long day!

Staying at a home instead of a hotel with kids is so much nicer and better.
The kids have the space to run around and play instead of being confined to one little hotel room.
It’s also so much easier to make meals for not just the kids, but the whole family too!

All 3 kids loved hanging together on this comfy couch/chair.
They had so many kid friendly things!
A whole bookcase full of story books, DVDs, and games!
They also had Netflix – woo hoo!

Peep Emma dancing along to Trolls in the back, and the mess (fun) they were all having with their toys and the awesome books they borrowed from that bookshelf in the back!

I have to talk about this AWESOME Harry Potter Bedroom! It was seriously so freaking cool!
If you are a Harry Potter Fan like me, you would also appreciate it!
All the little details made you feel like you were at Hogwarts!
Although the kids are too little, they loved this bedroom!
Emma knows a little about Harry Potter and she was so excited to be at “Harry Potter’s House” as she called it!

The other 2 bedrooms were comfy and perfect!
We each had our own bathroom, and we all loved the comfy pillows and how bright and light the room was.
It was so calming and nice!

We had both a shower and a tub in our bathroom which the kids LOVED!
They seriously took multiple baths a day! Once before the parks and once after.
Being under the hot sun all day calls for a nice bath before bed!

We loved hangin’ in the backyard! Every morning the kids would go outside and Owen would say hi to the duckies and although we didn’t see any, Emma swore there were alligators in the lake so before we went back inside she would go up to the screen and say “see you later alligator” haha!
We loved hanging out outside and reading stories, talking and just relaxing!
Because the outside room is screened we got to be out with no bugs buggin’ us! 🙂

Enjoying breakfast before the park!
There were cute plastic forks, plates, cups and bowls available for the kids to use along with nice, regular glass ones.
Emma LOVED that red Mickey fork she’s holding above.

When I tell you that Sarah and Ken thought of EVERYTHING – I mean it!
There were strollers, booster seats, a crib, and a pack and play available for the kids, along with swim diapers, changing pads, baby lotion, you name it – they had it!
They had handheld fans in the closet for us to take to the parks and ponchos if we needed.

In the bathroom they had razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, blow dryer, a flat iron to straighten your hair and so much more.
We all couldn’t believe how they thought of everything!
We even had extra pillows and sheets and cozy robes to use.

This was the first time that I stayed at a rental home and didn’t have to go out to shop for anything.
They had plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags to last during our whole stay.

We all truly loved staying at Serenity Lake House and we cannot wait to go back and try out another one of Sarah and Ken’s homes.

Sarah and Ken were so wonderful, that they even decided to give my friends and followers a discount!
